My road bike set up for a light weekend tour - bolted on the rack from my commuter, a cheap pannier on the left, sleeping bag wrapped in a waterproof bike cover wrapped in a plastic bag on the right. 12 other fellows, free choice of the route and pace, sunny weather, a "game" of "carry an egg 100 km without it breaking on a bike". 150 km total distance, most of it on paved roads but also 30 km or so on gravel.
