Fat tyre wear / longevity

Hi,

I'm a fan of the fatter tyre on my bikes.

As an example 23mm tyres run at ~ 100psi can be replaced
by 28mm tyres run at ~ 70psi. Due to lower pressure you will
get more comfort, also a 42% bigger contact patch, so more
grip. But does the bigger tyre last longer ?

I suspect it must be so, but not sure how much ?

rgds, sreten.
