And don't forget, Captain Kangaroo endorsed them!!!! I mentioned another time, that an uncle gave my older brother & I a truckload of bikes, that all had issues. He was a garbageman, & his kids had more bikes than they could ever ride, so he was sharing the wealth. Anyways, one of the bikes my brother put together, was a green Stingray, with the 5-speed stick shift, but a normal front end, no springer. That was an awesome bike, and I rode it every day, until it got stolen. R.I.P. Mr. Fritz.
