Isn't the number 1 thing you have learnt not to ride with both your hands off the handlebars?

After reading your thread title I thought this would have been your number 1 conclusion.

If you ride a unicycle, then fine, there are no handlebars, but on an bicycle, at least one hand should be on the handlebars at all times when moving - without fail. Why would you want to be out of control? Gust of wind, bump, pot-hole, stone or anything in the road and you are off and practising your falling again.

Do you drive? Would you drive with no hands on the steering wheel? Would you feel comfortable if the driver passing you when you are on your bicycle had no hands on the steering wheel.

I do see people doing this regularly. The riders sometimes have their arms crossed, are talking on the phone, or even texting / reading. Mostly the rider is not wearing a helmet.

I do not worry as this can ultimately only make the human race stronger via the process of natural selection.

Now why would anyone do this? I really don't understand. Falling of a bike is horrible, there is not one good thing about it.

I would also advise you to buy a new helmet. Even if you don't think you have hit your head, it is not worth it get another. I had a serious accident when a parked car opened its door in front of me. I landed on my shoulder and ended up on my back. The helmet was unmarked, but I disposed of it and got a new one.
