i can take a compliment. i just don't much care what other people think about my bike, or my balance.

i also don't believe in idiotic blind pleasantries that everyone seems to be so fond of. i'll say hello to someone and be pleasant and make conversation, but i won't say "nice to meet you," if i know deep down that i am never, ever going to see said person again. if, at the end of my encounter with said person, i feel it was indeed nice to have met them, i will say so.
