You are talking about the crosswalk at the corner where I53, I72, and the end of 290 is at correct? I have ridden at Busse many times, fished there a lot too, and never seen anyone get hit if they are waiting for the light. I don't know how people are getting hit unless it is driver or ride/walker negligence.
I would like to see a bridge there too, but I also feel the light is safe IF people pay attention to it.
I ride there periodically (it's close enough to home to ride to), and haven't heard about any deaths or accidents there lately. I've never seen any problems there either that weren't due to negligence either, I feel just like Chitown_Mike does about the bridge. I'd rather they spent the money on fixing the pavement by the small bridges that go over the water.
