i know it's relavite to each cyclist and their experience/fitness/etc. levels, but some general thoughts would be helpful.
As intense as you make it.
You can granny gear it at a casual stroll heartrate balancing the tip over.
Or you can push the HR, and try for a new
PR everytime you ride the stretch of road.
Only you can answer "how intense".
