3/16", 14 per side but I don't recall if that was with caged bearings ot not. the pressed in races in the alloy cups and the pressed on races on the spindle make for no room for the standard 1/4"

Campagnolo did this before and after, in the early 60's for one year and later with the early C Record BB.
