You'll have lots o' fun! The climb over Edinburg Gap from Ft Valley is not bad at all. It's harder going WE than EW.

I use Camp Roosevelt to get to the route I posted over Massanutten, but haven't ridden further down to New Market, so I don't have personal experience with that. Should be fine though.
