Throw a chain on that bike and give it a test ride. It sure looks like a Mt. Hood. I bought one for my wife in 1985 and a Nishiki for myself because the Nishiki felt a little more relaxed. Four years later, a friend offered to sell me his '85 Hood and I snapped it up. It has been my trail bike of choice since then. Definitely a quality bike that deserves a good home. Ironically, the guy that sold me mine has said if I decide to unload it, he wants first chance to buy it back. He's going to have a long wait.
