snafuspyramid, Wheelsets and their individual parts are usually a hot topic. I bought the Alivio/CR18 wheelset from Harris and I'm quite pleased with their performance both on and off road. Like all machine built wheels I had to restress and retrue, but that was expected. If you back up a page from the link in post #2 you'll find some of the other popular touring wheelsets.
