Nah, all you have to do with some of that stuff is to get out your drill and your dremel tool. A guy around here has an 11 lb. bike he races on in the Masters 55+ category. No weight restriction in USCF races. Some of it is leightweight stuff. Other components he has shaved the weight off by himself.
