Time to resurrect my own thread for an update...

Was over in Hammond yesterday evening visiting family, and I took my bike along so I could get a ride in while there. Anyway, rode the E-L trail south (wanted to check out the tunnel under Indy Blvd) and when I got to the section along the Little Cal, I noticed that it had been paved. The last time I was on that section (Summer 2011 IIRC) it was still gravel, so sometime within the last two years it got paved. Very nice ride now. That, and the tunnel under the blvd, makes it a much nicer ride from Hammond south into Highland and Griffith.
