Hey Guys,
I'm going to be near San Diego for an internship this summer, and need some info on cycling in the area.

first, which bikes should I bring? I was just going to bring my road bike, but then I saw the SDMBA site and it looks like there is a lot of great mountain riding.. so maybe both? I'm from the flat part of Indiana, are the trails out west going to kill me? how are the road routes?

Second, I need a bike shop. Initially, I need to store my bikes for a week or two. I'll be staying in a hostel until I find a place to rent, and don't want to leave the bikes locked to the car. any recommendations? I'm going to be working in the La Jolla area, but will likely be living in Pacific beach.

I think that's it for now. any advice would be appreciated.
