The human factors associated with near-eye, see-through displays are challenging. It's one thing to design a consumer curiosity, it's quite another to design a display that can be worn for several hours, readable in bright sunlight, light, low power, durable, acceptable optical performance. There may be more to be gained by enhancing the bluetooth interface of cyclometers to include audio turn indication, HR zone, etc. than futzing around with a see-through, collimated display.
