I also bought its exact twin a few months back off Craigslist for $20 and converted it into a 1x7. It wasn't in the greatest of shape but still rideable. I put another $30 and a few hours into it. The only issue with these older bikes is the wheels tend to be shot. The one I bought had the rear way out of true and the sopkes were seized up. I should be getting a replacement wheel from niagara this week.
