Hey krazyderek. Actually they're not 30mm rims. Mavic Cosmos uses low profile rims (more like 18mm) which are pretty much low spoke count Open Pros. I use a set as my "workhorse" wheels for training, and they really are pretty bomb-proof, especially the backs with the cross-3 lacing on both sides.
