Continental 4000S Tires under $80/pair in US

Is this an appropriate post? Apologies if not.

Bike Forums convinced me that there are only two tire choices - Conti 4000s and lesser tires. I had a horrible first few months cycling. LOTS of miles. LOTS of flats - several times I had multiple flats on one ride. Finally (I can be dumb as a stump) I figured out that I should try new tires. What choice did I have but 4000S after reading the forums here, but WOW are they expensive! And WOW did they work! I ceased having flats. And they seemed to work better, but I may not have sufficient experience to be a good judge.

Planet Cyclery is selling pairs of them, both 23 and 25, for $80 with free shipping. A pair of Conti Presta tubes for $10. Both of those are the best prices I've found.

Is this a good company? I hope so - I ordered a pair of both.

I hope this proves helpful.
