Traveling for work sucks. Not being able to control one's diet is 10x more detrimental than not riding for the same time period. Hotel restaurant food, lunch with coworkers/clients at the worst places possible, compulsory drinks with client/coworkers, no groceries, no kitchen...ugg.
Don't take the easy way out. You can ALWAYS control your portions. Even McDonald's has salad, chicken, and apple slices. You're going to end up with more sodium, and higher percentage of fat, but don't throw in the towel just because a rack of ribs and Death By Chocolate are on some menu.
