Since your main concern seems to be finding a bike for a shorter person, having you considered other options? For example,
Sweetpea Bicycles makes bikes specifically for women's geometry. Also, I understand that
Rodriguez Bikes does custom frames for smaller folks and women-specific geometries. I don't about the cost of these, but they would be something to consider.
