Its been in the low 90's here lately. Forecast says low 90's bursting to low '00s next sat/sun. Its not that bad really.

Riding from the strip is probably not going to be all that fun. Red Rock is a fairly good distance from there, as are the river mountains/Lake mead loop.

Depending on how hardcore you want to be, and how you feel about riding in traffic, you can go straight west on Tropicana to Rainbow, hang a left on Rainbow to Blue Diamond Road, bear rightish onto State Route 159, take that to the red rock loop, do the loop, continue down 159 to Charleston, to rainbow, Right, then left on Tropicana and back to the hotel.
