If you eat crap (and a lot of it) it tends to fatten you up and leave you hungry.
If you're filling up on fruits, veggies, and non-processed food you will tend to fill up, stay full longer and your body will process it better.
That's it. When I do this ^ I have no cravings and can run a calorie deficit and train. When I don't I can run a calorie deficit or train, pick one.
