I can't fathom why anyone would spend money for a coach and not follow what they say. This is not Major League Baseball where you are a contracted pro who is pretty much 100% responsible for their performance. If you are committed enough to hire a coach, then be committed enough to stick to the plan. There will always be glitches, exceptions, desires. A good coach will work them into the plan after giving you the pros and cons. But to go rogue, that's just a waste of everyone's time.
