From you report, I take it that C&V is alive and well....and may still be growing in Japan then.
What is the hottest thing for them at this time, do Italian bikes, frames and components come in first for preference over French, English and others? There seems to be a healthy appreciation of locally made classics over there too. It must be a whole different group of collectors that concentrate on those as there must be also a strong classic Keirin following. I wonder if there might be some interesting constructive disagreements between "factions" of collectors over there....
