Another explanation is that those are the decals the shop had on hand when they sold the bike originally or the bike did notnhave decals whe originally sold and a previous owner acquired his own. In purchasing decals for my Paramount from Waterford,the Waterford people told me that originally the tube decals were not applied when the bike was built at the factory. They were provided to the buyers and left up them whether and where on the bike they were applied. Waterford did this because their philosophy was and is "we build bikes not tubesets". So if it was left to shop to apply decals after the bike was delivered from the factory, perhaps the generic decal was available.
