Guessing from your post that your travelling is to the same location each week. If you want to ride during mid-week, you might acquire a suitable bike (local shops, Craigslist, nothing $$$) and arrange with the hotel or office location to store it there. I would not try traveling with a bike - either the airline fees mount up, or a suitcase-packable bike is $$$, and there is always the risk of TSA or the airline damaging it.

DC Rainmaker has a recent blog post describing what he does while travelling to continue to train (he does tris, so running & swimming opportunities work well for him).
