As for temps, the local weather guessers have just laid out the rolling 10-day 4cast for the area, and the "100-and-stupids" are due to hit this weekend. This will start our usual 70-day run of triple digits temperatures. Most locals do their riding in the wee hours of the morning, the coolest period. Evening rides carry the baggage of retained heat from cooking in the sun all day. This is especially noticeable down in the bottom of the bowl - aka LV Valley - the Strip. Too much concrete and blacktop.
