Thanks for the suggestions. Im probably leaning towards heading from Portland to Estacada and the 224 towards Breitenbush and detroit lake, before turning onto highway 22. To avoid what seems to be a really big and busy 4 lane highway for Santiam pass, we will head down slightly and take 126 to McKenzie highway. Ive heard its amazing beautiful and will be a little safer than anything else...
