I agree. Fortunately, the inflator I carry has held pressure on a partially discharged cartridge for weeks, so rarely remove them. The reason I don't like Hammer Gels is that I would have to but that sticky empty in a jersey pocket (yuck) I see a lot more Gel packs by the side of the road than I do spent CO2 cartridges.
