They responded with a very pleasant phone call from one of the managers, who noted that bike parking had never even crossed their minds and that it was a good idea. Dont assume that home depot and lowes are against bike parking. They probably have just never thought about it. It may take more than 1 email to get some movement on the issue, but im willng to bet a little persistence and a good strategy will pay off.
