Considering the amount of money some grocery stores will spend to get one new customer, you might be on to something useful. Email your store manager. A couple of squeaky wheels will go a long way and get some grease!
I have also heard of some stores offering discounts if you use a bike as transportation. I suppose the thought behind it is to not only help the environment, but also cut down on taken parking spots.
