My wife named my blue Cannondale Blue Bell to tease me, I eat a lot of Blue Bell ice cream. I thought she was calling it Blue Belle, it was a beautiful bike after all so it was "Blue Belle" while I had it.
I named my Raleigh Grand Prix "Rosarita". I spent so much time on it and enjoyed it more than any other I have ever had, it was worthy of a name. It was red but the name is also a nod to my appreciation for Latin Music and food. Certain bikes and routes evoke certain music in my mind. Most often when riding "Rosarita" I would here Rodrigo y Gabriella - Hanuman

I called my Redline "Fiona" because it was green, kicked butt and it made my kids laugh. They refer to me as Shrek when I get mad.
My BMX bike is Smurf because it is blue and is small compared to other bikes. My youngest daughter named it.
My Olmo has not been around long enough to be attributed with a name.
Of course I am a bit anti-social and depend heavily on cycling to maintain good mental health so that is the frame of reference for naming inanimate objects.
