How about this for fun, is there anyway I can have BOTH canti and disc on the rear? Is there anyway I can rig a hydraulic MTB brake lever on my drop bars and run a hydraulic disc in the rear AND keep my brifter line to the rear canti??

That started off as a joke but is that possible? That would be ridic. Even the snobbiest and and passive of cyclists would have to comment at every sighting.
This reminds me of when SB slid a threaded stem inside a threadless steerer tube to make a bike with two handlebars, and somehow made brake levers on both handlebars operate the same V brake. Still don't understand what exactly is going on there, but here's a closeup.
