The holes are certainly off centre, but is the leather itself? My brooks from 1981 is far more asymmetrical than my various newer production brooks saddles. I am sure they will replace it if you are unhappy. The scuff look very minor, but it is hard to tell with the flash washing things out. As others have said, once you proofide it and ride is a few 100 miles those will disappear.
