The 2 days a week I CAN ride during midday, I don't. With school being out, I can sleep in one extra day, lol. So rides are targeted for late afternoon/evening.

The last time I had to ride midday (one of my kids got detained at a store with a 'friend', for what the friend did), it was 95F and about 40% humidity; 8 miles through town in just over 30 minutes...and when I got there, the whole incident was over, the bad kid was on his way to juvie, and the other kids were already home.
