I voted contacts + regular sunglasses because that's what I do. My contacts are starting to bother me as I age - my glasses are bifocals AND transition but they don't block anywhere near as much sunlight (either through the glass or around the frame) so I don't really care for those.

I'd get prescription sunglasses next but the hazard there is you can't really take them off when you get where you're going, if you're going anywhere.

Oakley and Rudy both have prescription inserts I believe too, if you'd prefer that route.

How lucky are we to have all these options?

One thing I refuse to do is get zapped. I know from experience I can't do the near in one eye, far in the other eye so... I'm skipping it, as wonderful as it sounds.
