This is why you see all of those Russian dashcam videos - to have evidence of potential insurance fraud/determining fault in an accident. Some of the attempted fraud videos are downright hilarious! Like the guy ahead of you at a traffic light backing into your car, and claiming that you rear-ended him. Or the pedestrians that will walk in front of your stopped car, smack the hood, then flop on the ground, feigning bodily injury.

Sadly, we're getting to that point here in the US as well...
