you dont need a 9 speed derailleur and cassette
you only need a 9 speed derailleur
and that will work with your 10 speed shifters and cassette

shimano kept the pull ratio on almost all of their rear derailleurs the same
for years
the pull ratio is how much the derailleur moves for a given amount of cable pull from the shifter
indexed shifters pull a precise amount of cable for each click
and that amount per click is different for 9 speed than it is for 10 speed

but they changed the pull ratio on mtb 10 speed derailleurs and shifters
so if you want to use a 10 speed mtb derailleur on a 10 speed cassette
you need a 10 speed mtb shifter

you could use almost any shimano derailleur designed for indexed 6 7 8 or 9 speeds
or any road derailleur designed for 10 speeds
