Bikes: 1986 Trek 500 Tri Series, 2005 Cannondale R1000

I guess I am worried that my frame and fork will outlive wheel availability. No way would I convert to disc (assuming that is even possible).

I am already fantasizing about stripping the bike down and going to 700Cs with a ENO eccentric hub in back (vertical dropouts). But I'm a chicken; the idea of brake-less is a bit scary.
