The Fox may be a better fork but at what price? It costs more, there's a chance you'll have to send it in for warranty repair (3-6 weeks!!!).
Not sure how the XC fork experience translates to FR/DJ forks but I know that I will probably get a Marzocchi.
I learned that there was a batch of Fox forks this year with valve problems that were all repaired by Fox and that the problem was resolved.
