It's horrible. One of the best velodromes in the world is 45 minutes away, there are two other tracks within driving distance, I can do a 6 hour ride in the mountains right outside my door, the grocery stores are stocked with local produce, can snow ski, sail, surf, or backpack within a couple hours drive, and I can race every weekend and ride through the winter barring the occasional storm (if I don't feel like driving to HDC).

I often think about moving to somewhere where the climate and traffic is better, like New York.

Then I go console myself with an avocado off my tree and a glass of wine and take a swim in my pool to calm down.
