currently in my amazon cart I have Avenir Smoothie Wire Bead Bicycle Tire, Black, 26 X 1.50 tires with Slime Smart Tube Schrader Valve Bicycle Tube (20 x 1.50-2.125) tubes. I am at $55 there. I need to replace the saddle....the one on it kills. Looking at Origin8 Pro Uno Saddle - Black. I thought about changing out the seat post with Avenir 200 Series Seat Post, Black, 27.2mm, but I might just keep what was there. I thought about replacing the brakes too with Shimano BR-M422 Acera Bicycle V-Brake (Front, Black), but I can live with whats there....they just squeal fairly loud...maybe wd40 the brake levers. If I do all of this its going to run around $138. I know the components are fairly cheap that I am adding, but again....this is a commuter/beater that I won't be afraid to leave chained up. Putting almost $140 in the bike though makes me thing I should put that into a new cheaper bike, or shot on craigslist for a used bike.
