I agree will OP that it would be fine for him to draft in and the other guys would feel the same.
Based on your screen name, if you really are a tri guy why are you even offering an opinion on this? Tri is a totally different culture.
As I keep saying, all anyone has to do is be ACKNOLWLEDGED by the group and then it should be fine unless the rider starts pulling through and is a total squirrel.
If that is the case they are endangering everyone around them and should be dealt with. How they are dealt with is entirely dependent on the group and the situation.
This isn't rocket surgery folks. There are well established protocols for this situation for a bloody reason. The number of people in this thread with their heads firmly wedged up their arse is astounding even for the 41.
