It's about a 50 mile round trip ride from St Peters, Missouri to Pere Marquette State Park in Illinois via. ferries across the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. That used to be one of our favorite rides. On a short detour coming back is the Wittman Hotel in Brussels, Il. They serve a HUGE family style fried chicken dinner with lots of courses and lots and lots of sides. Home made pie is included. It's all real good.

Probably not the kind of snack you were thinking of but it beats the hell out of a granola bar..
