The fork is from 1987. If the frame matchs the frame in the classified ad, which is known to be Infinity, and the previous owner claims your frame is Infinity, then why is there any doubt? There's nothing wrong with Infinity. It's basically a seamed version of Tange #2. By this time seamed tube technology was quite advanced and very reliable. Infinity was very good value.
