a nice set of tires appropriate for the riding you intend to do
fenders that match or nicely accent the frame or components
and a nice helmet
will get you the respect of cyclists and non cyclist alike

it is also possible to find cable housing for the brake and shift cables
in different colours
and that might look nice if properly chosen
