Hit a big as **** rock 20mi into this race, so hard that it shifted my hood down and pinched my front brake against the rim. So, had to hop off, and adjusted all of the things, lost a minute. Spent 5 miles chasing back on, burnt my matchbook. There until the finishing climb, but no matches left for acceleration at the bottom. 14th. Nothing like an ITT in the middle of a bike race. First race back since breaking the wrist at Battenkill, so if nothing else the dirt was a hell of a way to face down the crash demons.
