This was my problem getting into college. I had a decent SAT score (I think like 1250?) but my GPA for high school was like 2.7. I went to a college prep catholic school that enjoyed bringing me to the edge of death and slaughtering my soul even though I did like 14 gazillion hours of homework everyday.

I ended up not getting accepted into any the in state schools (South Carolina or Clemson) because of my GPA. I did however get accepted to Purdue for Mechanical Engineering (father alumni probably helped), as well as Arizona State (where I ended up going).
