Very nice bike! I don't know much about the history of Japanese constructeurs, but I know there are some really nice French-inspired hand-built marques that have come out of Japan, and I'm sure the attention to detail is right up there with the best. That's great that you were able to score one... a complete one at that! Looks well balanced, everything seems to fit right. It just needs a minor front fender adjustment, and if it were my bike, I'd upgrade the lighting to modern hub dynamo lighting, and add a mudflap to that rather short front fender.
