This is not what I want as I need to be able to easily move the rack from one vehicle to another.
How can it possibly do that? Looks to me like the bar clamp is supposed to prevent vertical movement.
don't worry about the cushion meshing on the top tube. it won't hurt it or anything like that.
as for the screw nut part. u can drill it out then get a standardize lock from local uhaul place or something like that with a pin at the end.
the bar clamp is suppose to prevent vertical movement.. but it has a turn knob screw at the back of it to prevent or allows access to vertical movements.
EDIT: the L shaped pin is included in the package. i just remembered now.. but the part i don't get is the pin won't go though the threaded hole. anyone got theirs to work? this is the rack i'm talking about
